Wanda Christine Ready born October 24, 1929 in Breckinridge TX to L.E. and Grace Wallace went to her Heavenly home on April 13, 2022.  For most of her life Christine was raised in Ranger, TX where her parents built a house up on Ranger Hill.  

After graduating from Ranger High, Christine went on to earning a degree from Ranger Junior College and Abilene Christian College in elementary education.  Christine married Jerome Ready in Strawn, Texas where he was employed by Union Pacific Railway.  

Christine enjoyed her many years in Ranger where she devoted her time to the care of her parents, as well as, to the Mesquite Street Church of Christ, where she was a faithful member.  A lovingly reserved and shy person she enjoyed spending time with her parents playing Skip Bo in the afternoons, as well as reading and traveling.  In her later years, she thoroughly enjoyed her trip to Scotland and Ireland, with her friend Georgia, while she further researched her Wallace family lineage through genealogy.

The family would like to extend our heartfelt thanks and gratitude to the staff of Ranger Senior Home, as well as, to the Wesley family for the many years of service and care of our beloved Mother and Grandmother.

Survivors include: daughter: Leta Jo and Richard Guest and grandson, Christopher Adams
