The Republican Party and The Tea Party Patriots of Eastland County hosted a Republican Primary Candidate Forum Tuesday, February 1, 2022. 

Candidates attending:
State Representative District 68: David Spiller, Mark Middleton, Gary Franklin
Eastland County Clerk: Darlene Maynard-Perrin, Cathy Jentho. 
Eastland County Sheriff: Jason Weger and Rusty Schraeder. 
Eastland County Judge: David Hullum and Loretta Key. 
John Spiers, candidate for Land Commissioner, spoke after the forum. 
Brad Stephenson, unopposed candidate for district attorney, wrapped up the evening with a short speech.  

The event was live-streamed, but due to some technical difficulties, the stream didn’t begin until after introductions and into the third question in the state representative segment of the forum.  Seated left to right in the video are state representative candidates David Spiller, Mark Middleton, and Gary Franklin.
