08-05-23 5 PM: The City of Eastland sent out a CodeRED alert warning of a train derailment that had started several fires. Emergency crews are working to contain the situation. Please stay out of the area.

The train is blocking North Seaman St./ Hwy 112 and the road is closed to traffic at Main Street.
