It is with sadness that we report to you all that the exhibit “Texas Spurs and the Artist that Created Them” is coming to an end on January 31, 2022. We have decided to hold an event to bid it farewell on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at 6:00 pm.

We invite you for one last look at the exhibit and a sneak peek at a special, one-of-a-kind pair of spurs commissioned by Hugh Edmonson for the W. K. Gordon Museum. These spurs will be auctioned at a date yet to be determined in order to raise funds for our educational programming. This set of spurs is the result of a collaboration between world-renowned spur makers Cotton Elliot and Wilson Capron and comes with custom leathers from the Pecos Saddle Company.  

Plan to come and join us for some light refreshments and one last viewing of the 87 pairs of spurs and 3 bits on display.
