EASTLAND – The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) has rescheduled the traffic shift planned for Saturday, May 4 to Monday, May 6, 2024.

Beginning Monday, May 6, 2024, TxDOT will shift eastbound traffic to the inside westbound lanes on Interstate Highway 20 (IH-20) near CR 494 in Eastland County.

This shift will begin at 7 a.m. on Monday and construction will continue through the summer. See diagram below. This traffic shift is needed to keep the traveling public safe while allowing room for crews to reconstruct the roadway and replace bridges.

Traffic delays are expected, and motorists are advised to plan accordingly.
