Nuell Don Sherman, 89, of Cisco, Texas, passed away on June 27, 2026.

Born and raised in Texas, Don built a life marked by a deep devotion to God and his family. He was a man who told captivating stories and valued the simple joys of everyday life.

He is survived by his wife Ruby Sherman, his son Robert Sherman and his wife Mary Kay Sherman, and Scott Brinkley, who was like a son to Don. He was preceded in death by his son Michael Sherman and Nell Sherman. Don had many surviving grandkids, great-grand kids, and great-great grandkids.

His family remembers him as a man who truly loved God and his family.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Visitation will be at Edwards Funeral Home in Eastland on Wednesday, July 1 at 10am with a memorial service at 11am.
