Cody Douglas Pritchard, 42, is facing charges of Capital Murder of a Peace Officer in the death of Eastland County Deputy David Bosecker.

Deputy Bosecker was shot and killed Friday, July 21, while responding to a domestic fight in progress call on Hwy 183 between Cisco and Rising Star. Deputy Bosecker was the first to arrive on scene and was immediately met with gunfire. Pritchard was arrested shortly after the incident.

Pritchard was arraigned Monday and is currently being held at the Stephens County Jail without bond.
