EASTLAND – Beginning Thursday, March 7, 2024 the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) will close the inside westbound lane on Interstate Highway 20 (I-20) near CR 494 in Eastland County. This closure will begin at 7 a.m. on Thursday and will continue through early spring.

TxDOT closed the inside eastbound lane in this area earlier this month. These lane closures are needed for bridge deck repairs ahead of traffic shifts, see diagram below. More information will be shared as work and these traffic shifts are scheduled. Traffic shifts create a workspace, in an effort to keep crews and the traveling public safe.

Roadway configuration begins Thursday, March 7, 2024..

Traffic delays are expected, motorists are advised to plan accordingly.
