“Examining School Choice” with Faith Howe at Tea Party Patriots of Eastland County August 8th

Faith Bussey Howe

“Examining School Choice” will be Faith Bussey Howe’s topic at Tea Party Patriots of Eastland County on Thursday, August 8, in Cisco’s Myrtle Wilks Community Center. Doors open at 6:00 p.m.; meeting will begin at 6:30.

Faith (Bussey) Howe is the President of Texans for Homeschool Freedom. She began homeschooling her three children in 2009. She began her work in politics in 2013 fighting a school bond, banning red light cameras in her hometown, attending the quarterly Republican Party of Texas Executive Committee meetings in Austin, helping her first family undergoing a Child Protective Services (CPS) investigation, and going down to the Texas State Capitol to fight for homeschool freedom.

Faith has spent the last ten years fighting for limited government at every level, and now she is spreading the word about the dangers of the buzzwords “school choice.”

On the surface, “school choice” sounds like the perfect way to save children from the public school system, but the way our government wants to implement it has nothing to do with choice and everything to do with socialistic funding that can one day control the private schools. Come find out just how easy it will be to regulate ALL private schools if “school choice” legislation passes. Faith will also outline what can be done to stop it.
