David was a dedicated firefighter and a man of many talents, known as a “jack-of-all-trades” who had a deep passion for mechanics. His commitment to his work and his community was unparalleled. A member of the Baptist faith, David found joy in the simple pleasures of life, often enjoying coffee with friends at the local Dairy Queen, where he shared laughter and companionship.

A graveside service honoring his life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at the Cockrell Family Cemetery, located at 218 C.R. 581 in Cisco.
