Eastland County Child’s Advocacy Center, Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, the Child Welfare Board, and the Court Appointed Special Advocates gathered in front of the Eastland County Courthouse as Eastland County Judge David Hullum read a proclamation declaring April as Child Abuse Prevention Month.

The Blue Pinwheel is the national symbol for child abuse prevention, adopted by Prevent Child Abuse America in 2008. It represents the carefree childhood every child deserves. The pinwheels will grace the courthouse lawn for the entire month of April.
