In memory of the events that changed our lives on September 11, 2001, Eastland High School and Middle School students attended an assembly Tuesday morning. EHS principal, Adam Bramlett opened the assembly with a few words about 9/11 and gave thanks to the first responders who were in attendance. Hailee Stacey, granddaughter of retired Eastland Fire Chief Phillip Arther, read the 9/11 Memorial poem. The EHS Band performed the National Anthem and students left the assembly quietly and solemnly after the memorial service.
