Third Confirmed COVID-19 Case Reported in Eastland County

In a post on Facebook, Eastland District Attorney Russ Thomason posted the following information from Dr. Robert DeLuca:

Two cases have been confirmed within the city limits of Cisco – both of these cases are in the same household. There is a third confirmed case in Eastland County. The third confirmed case is not within the city limits of any of our towns – it is in Eastland County

It has been confirmed that both Eastland County cases are in Cisco.

Eastland County Judge Rex Fields announced Monday morning that Eastland County has it’s first confirmed case of COVID-19.

According to Eastland County Today, during the Eastland County Commissioners’ meeting Field’s stated that a Cisco resident was tested in Comanche for the virus.

Monday evening, Dr. Robert DeLuca posted on Facebook that two people have been confirmed in Eastland County. In the post he stated that steps were being taken to increase testing at Eastland Memorial Hospital as soon as test kits are available. He urged people to remain home if possible.

    People need to stay home and not travel. only necessary trips to gro. etc. .Obviously some are not.
