State Rep. Mike Lang Joins Tea Party Patriots June 11 in Cisco

State Rep. Mike Lang

Tea Party Patriots is excited to resume its usual second-Thursday schedule at the Myrtle Wilks Community Center in Cisco — except the June 11 meeting will be a little different.

First, we invite you to join us from 6:00-6:45 p.m. in the Myrtle Wilks Community Center AUDITORIUM for a special, bonus event. Young Conservatives of Texas’ (YCT’s) Executive Director Manfred Wendt has chosen this beautiful facility to record a town hall for later release. This town hall features two Texas State House candidates endorsed by YCT, HD60’s Jon Francis (Cisco) and HD2’s Bryan Slaton (Royce City).

Following the town hall, at 7:00 p.m., Tea Party Patriots welcomes back our current State representative, Mike Lang. Lang will discuss Texas’ response to the Covid-19 pandemic. While many legislators have been sidelined and silent, Rep. Lang has been extremely active in advocating for HD60 communities with Gov. Greg Abbott and other State leaders. We look forward to his report.

Tea Party Patriots is always pleased to host Rep. Mike Lang, and delighted to welcome Manfred Wendt and Young Conservatives of Texas to the Big Country. YCT is a nonpartisan, conservative, college youth organization, known and respected for its tradition of publishing one of the longest-running legislative ratings in the State. YCT and its members participate in the entire spectrum of Texas politics, attempting to shape the policies of the state of Texas through various means including educating students and the public, advocating conservative fiscal and social policies, campus activism, campaigning for political candidates, and rating the Texas legislature.

Refreshments will be served.

The Myrtle Wilks Community Center is located at 1498 West I-20, Cisco.
