Eastland County Commissioners have implemented a burn ban for all unincorporated areas of Eastland County, effective immediately.

Beginning June 1, 2026, TxDOT forces will begin a pavement rehabilitation project on SH 6, weather permitting. The project will begin near FM 1853 and progress south to the Union Pacific Railroad tracks.
