Run 4 the Rescue 5K/1M Fun Run, Dog Walk and Post Race Party!

UPDATE: In consideration of National CDC guidelines, and at the prompting of local city and county officials, we have postponed the Run 4 the Rescue 5K/1M Fun Run at BJ’s Restaurant & Bar until Saturday, May 30, 2020 at 8:30 AM. Your event registration and raffle tickets will automatically be transferred to the new date and time. The raffle drawing will still take place at the awards ceremony on May 30. As noted during the registration process, the registration fee is non-refundable. This is for two reasons. First, we must honor our commitment to vendors, sponsors, and other organizations and businesses involved in this event. Second, all event-related costs have been incurred and paid. If you know you are unable to participate on May 30 due to prior commitments and you would like to claim your t-shirt, please send an email to and we will reserve your t-shirt for pick-up at CARE’s location in Mingus, TX at a later date. We appreciate your understanding. Please stay tuned for further updates in this ever-changing situation.

Thank you.
