Ranger College Presents Drone Piloting Course

BROWNWOOD, Texas – Ranger College will present a Drone Piloting course on October 22-24, 2020, at the Ranger College – Brownwood Campus located at 300 Early Blvd in Early.

“Ranger College is proud to bring the Drone Piloting course to Brownwood and the surrounding communities through a grant awarded by Texas Workforce Commission,” said Brown County Campus Vice President Gordon Warren.

The Drone Piloting course will provide a comprehensive approach to learn the basics of drone operation, and the Federal Aviation Administration’s 107 regulations that guide the industry.

Small businesses and sole proprietors may apply for grant funding to cover the cost of tuition and fees. A simple, two-page application is required. Jennifer Ratajczyk, Ranger College Grant Coordinator, is available to assist with the completion of the application.

I would like more information if possible. I am a veteran and retired since 2014. I want to find out if I can use my classification as a veteran to finance the course. I am very interested in utilizing this as a possible business opportunity.
    Thank you
