Mail-in Ballots

Those filling out mail-in ballots do have the option this year of delivering your ballot in person during early voting as well as on election day. You must present an accepted form of identification when presenting your ballot. No one else can deliver your ballot for you. Ballots must be delivered in person to the Elections Administrator’s office located at 435 Oak St. Palo Pinto. If you mail in your ballot, it must be postmarked no later than November 3, 2020.

Ballot by mail applications must be received (not postmarked) in the Elections Administrator’s Office by October 23, 2020. You must be eligible to vote by mail.

If you decide to vote in person after receiving your mail-in ballot, take your mail-in ballot with you when you vote in person in order to have it voided. You can still vote in person if you don’t take your mail-in ballot with you, but you will be required to vote with a provisional ballot and your vote will be provisional until it is determined your mail-in ballot wasn’t used.
