KATX Promoting Local Businesses

In an effort to help support Eastland County businesses during the coronavirus pandemic, Terry Slavens, owner of KATX 97.7 FM announced they would start giving away $25 local restaurant gift cards.

After the announcements, others in the community wanted in on the action and contacted Slavens to help with the effort.

Tom Edwards with Edwards Jones donated 4 $25 gift cards to Mae’s Meat Market. April 3rd they will start giving those away to someone who has liked and shared the official posts on the KATX Facebook Page.

Then Ruben Zarate heard about it and donated some $25 gift cards that will be given away on the Bargain Box starting next Wednesday. To win one of those just call the Bargain Box Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. 254-629-2621.

First Baptist Church, donating 4 gift cards,
Larry Vernon donating 4 gift cards,
Big S Company donating 4 gift cards
Spanky’s Catering donating 4 racks of ribs.
