EASTLAND COUNTY– Beginning Monday, August 4, 2025 (weather permitting) work to perform a resurfacing project will begin on all travel lanes of I-20 between State Highway (SH 16) and the Erath County Line.

The project will involve both daytime and nighttime lane closures as crews remove and replace a layer of asphalt, improving the road surface. Work is anticipated to be completed in approximately one month, weather permitting.

Motorists are urged to use caution, avoid distractions and watch for crews and equipment entering and exiting the work zone.
