Electric Outage Disrupts Monday in Eastland

Due to a storm that moved through the area Sunday evening, most of the City of Eastland has experienced power outages. Around 2 a.m. some of the town’s electric service was restored, but an area on the east end of town around Walmart and a residential section in the southeast part of town remained without electricity through late morning. Just before noon some businesses and signal lights around the downtown square once again lost service, just as the east end of town’s service was starting to be restored.
