Eastland County COVID-19 Update, September 29, 2020

The COVID case count as of September 28 is as follows

  1. Total number of positive COVID cases since March: 232
  2. Total active cases still in quarantine: 19
  3. Total number of deaths: 1

As we enter the flu season, it is recommended that you get your vaccine as soon as possible. Please check with your health care provider or local pharmacy for the vaccine.

As school has been in session in our county for over a month, the superintendents have been doing a great job in having protocols that can reduce the spread of the virus. Thanks to all the school systems in Eastland County for their great work.

There is a steady increase in cases. If you hover over COVID-19 at the top of the page and click on the Eastland Co. Covid-19 Updates that appears in the dropdown menu, you can see the links to each report that has been sent out and the case county and the quarantined (current positive cases quarantined) count.
