Eastland County has several COVID-19 results pending, but no new confirmed positives. Today hairdressers, barbers, nail salons and etc.… have open if they have chosen too. It is very imperative that you follow the guidelines recommended, keeping operators and other customers as safe as possible. If you have a fever or feel ill, please do not go out. Bring a mask to your appointments at businesses and physicians’ offices. Please continue to wear a mask into places of business. The use of the mask is not a sign of fear, but simply a sign of concern for others health in addition to your own. The state of Texas has reported an increase of 3,000 new confirmed cases since Monday.

There are very specific guidelines that the state of Texas has published as a part of the reopening of Texas. The department of state health services has developed recommendations for restaurants, churches, hair salons, museums, libraries and other businesses. If this reopening of Texas is going to be as successful as possible the recommendations and guidelines are very important to continue.

Be safe, kind and aware of those around you!
