ECHO, which stands for Eastland County Helping Others, is a 501(c)3, nonprofit charitable organization whose sole purpose is to help individuals and families who have found themselves in temporary need of food, clothes, shelter, and other basic necessities. We are board of directors with many volunteers! We serve residents and individuals who have found themselves displaced in Eastland County. Our main goal is to be a stop gap measure, when all other resources in Eastland County have been exhausted.
ECHO is hosting a Community Resource Fair to help the residents of Eastland County find resources they may need at some point in time such as food, shelter, help with education, job skill training, pregnancy assistance, volunteer opportunities, crisis counseling, etc.
We will be sharing presentations about how ECHO and the other non-profit organizations such as Impact, Open Door, Eastland Meals on Wheels, Cisco ISD and many more are strengthening our community and how you can benefit and or get involved. This is a great way to connect with others in the area to strengthen our community.
The theme for this Community Resource Fair is “Eastland County Strong”.
If you are an organization that helps the people of Eastland County please contact Deborah Nelms to sign up for a table 623.633.6468.
