Eastbound I-20 Traffic Switch Set for Ranger Hill on Tuesday, March 24

Eastland County – Beginning tomorrow, March 24, eastbound traffic on I-20 will switch to newly-constructed pavement on the south side of Ranger Hill, a project to widen and reconstruct I-20 in this area.

TxDOT’s contractor, Zachry Construction, recently completed construction of new pavement for what will eventually become the south frontage road of I-20 on Ranger Hill. Tuesday’s traffic switch will move eastbound mainlane traffic to the new pavement on the south side of the hill. This new traffic pattern will allow crews to complete eastbound mainlane reconstruction and reconstructing the westbound side of I-20.

The work is planned between 8 am and 6 pm, Tuesday, March 24, weather permitting.

Drivers are reminded to exercise caution in the construction area and pay attention to all signage along the road.
