Eastland County Health Officials Confirm Two COVID-19 Cases in County

MARCH 24, 2020 – The City of Eastland has been notified by county health officials of two confirmed COVID-19 cases in Eastland County at this time. As of this notice, no cases have been confirmed in the City of Eastland. The public should remain in their homes and avoid contact with others as much as possible. Everyone should follow all of the CDC COVID-19 guidelines, which are listed on the City of Eastland Website and Facebook pages.

In response to a request from County Health Officials, the City of Eastland has set up a drop-off point for people to donate hand sanitizer, disinfecting wipes, latex gloves and other much needed hygiene supplies. The drop off point will be at the Eastland Fire Department at 414 S Seaman St. Anyone wishing to donate items may leave them in the bin at the front door to the Fire Department. No personal contact will be allowed.
