CERRG Leadership at the State Capitol

The CERRG Leadership Class of 2017-2018 met for their third session at the State Capitol.  “State Government in Action” was the theme for the day.

The Eastland County leadership group joined another county leadership group for a full day of learning at the Capitol. The day began with an overview of the legislative process. Representative Mike Lang then gave the CERRG group VIP tours of his Capitol office and the House and Senate Chambers.

After a networking lunch in the Capitol Grill, the moved to a Committee Room for insights from lobbyists about their working relationship with lawmakers and a closing message on “Finding Your Leadership Role in the Community” by leadership development advocate Rick Rhodes.

Facilitators Nicki Harle and Lee Harle lead a discussion to recap the day and gave information on the upcoming session in January, “County Government in Action”.
