Cisco Writers Club invites you to the Wrangler Room of the Myrtle Wilks Community Center, 1498 W I 20 in Cisco, this Thursday, December 2, at 7:00 p.m. Members and guests are invited to bring a piece of writing they want critiqued. 

Critique is a favorite tool of writers who want to improve their skills. Part of the urge to share our words is the desire to know that others consider it worthy of reading. In addition, if something is unclear, incorrect or poorly organized, we want to know so we can correct it before publication. 

The purpose of critiquing is not to change the voice, style or world view of the writer. Rather, we want to identify any lack of clarity to which the author’s emotional involvement may blind him. 

Join us Thursday, December 2, as we meet in the Myrtle Wilks Community Center. Be sure to bring manuscripts to share and critique.
