Kenneth Ray Singleton of Palo Pinto passed away peacefully on July 24, 2026, surrounded by family after a long illness. Kenneth was born in Lillian, TX on January 22,1941 to J.D and Inez Singleton. He graduated from Alvarado High School and served for 6 years in the Air National Guard of Texas as a Staff Sergeant. He married the love of his life Judy in 1971. Kenneth retired after 41 years as a central office installer at Western Electric / AT&T / Lucent Technologies. Kenneth enjoyed spending time at the lake with his grandchildren.

Kenneth is survived by his wife Judy Singleton, daughter Kelly York (David), son Ricky Singleton (Copeland), son Desray Singleton, granddaughters Samantha Posey (Jeremy) and Pippa Catherine Singleton, grandsons Chase and Hunter York, Hayden, Maverick, Brady and Casey Singleton, great grandchildren Jaylee, Maycee and Drue Posey, nephews Stacy and Stan Singleton and his faithful dog Dixie. He is preceded in death by his father J.D. Singleton Sr., mother Effie Inez Prater, brothers J.D. Singleton Jr. and Bobby Ed Singleton, his beloved dogs Sparkle and Ginger.

Local arrangements were entrusted to Edwards Funeral Home of Strawn. The family will have a private burial.
