Cathy Earlene Warden, age 66, was born on July 30, 1958 to Guy Edward Warden and Allene (Griffin) Warden in Slaton, Texas, in the warm embrace of life, and departed this world on June 17, 2025 in Irving, Texas, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and light. Residing in Irving, Texas, Cathy was a beacon of joy, known for her radiant spirit and her ability to connect with all whom she encountered-she truly never met a stranger.

With an unwavering passion for the little things, Cathy found delight in the sparkle of jewelry, notably her beloved collection of watches, each a testament to her unique sense of style. A true connoisseur of refreshment, she cherished her Diet Coke and Diet Dr. Pepper, often sharing them with a smile that brightened any room. A devoted family member and friend, she was the ray of sunshine that illuminated the lives of those lucky enough to know her.

Cathy was not only a vibrant presence but also an inspiration, teaching us all to appreciate the simple things in life, those small yet profound moments that bring joy. Her love for her family and her faith was palpable, as she found solace attending church, surrounded by a community that adored her.

She is survived by her loving sister, Diane Jackson-Abel and husband, Mark of Rockwall; three nephews, Jordan Jackson, Nathan Abel, and Tanner Jackson; three nieces, Kallie Jackson, Lindsay Abel, and Andrea Abel; as well as a host of extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Guy and Allene Warden; and a nephew, Carter Jackson.

In celebration of her life, a funeral service will be held at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Eastland on June 21, 2025, at 2:00 PM. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at 1:00 PM. Friends and family are invited to gather, to reflect on the beautiful spirit of Cathy Earlene Warden-an eternal light that will forever guide us through the brilliance of life. May her memory shine brightly in our hearts, as we honor her legacy of love and joy.
