Eastland’s local public library was selected by the Eastland Chamber of Commerce as the October Business of the Month. A celebratory luncheon was held at the library on October 28th.
The Eastland Centennial Memorial Library has a treasure trove of resources linked to a library card. Along with an extensive genealogy section for Eastland County and surrounding areas, the library also holds computers for in-library usage. If you can’t make it to the library, a library card will also link you to online book lending. A new 3-D printer has arrived to add to regular printing and laminating fee-based services.
The City of Eastland donates a portion of its operating budget but their funding for books, events, and programs is funded through grants and donations. You can help by becoming a donor.
The Eastland Centennial Memorial Library is open Tuesdays and Thursdays 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Wednesdays 12 p.m. – 5 p.m. The library is located at 210 S. Lamar Street.
Follow the library on Facebook or visit their website to find out what they have to offer for children and adults. Their website also offers a link to make a donation. The library is currently holding a Book Sale through November 24th.
