Eastland County COVID-19 Update, August 11, 2021

The following is the current report of cases of COVID-19 for Eastland County:

  1.  Number of positive cases from August 2-August 11:  86

These are all still in quarantine.  These are the cases from Eastland Memorial hospital and the clinics in Eastland.  Individuals who are tested at home or in the nursing homes or outside the county are not included.

School is beginning to start, please follow the appropriate guidelines for a safe environment for the students.  Masks are highly recommended.   Be sure to wash and sanitize hands.  Keep a safe distance as possible.

For Pete’s sake, why are we sending our children and their teachers back to school when Covid and the new Delta Variant are running rampart? If we ever needed to keep them at home with online schooling, it is certainly NOW!!!

Kay it’s like sending them into the lions den . Very sad about this and the Governor of Texas says no has to wear a mask .

Sounds legit to me. Dan Patrick wanted to kill our parents, now Gregg Abbot wants to kill out children.
