Progress on the new Red Star Travel Center was discussed. The creation of new jobs and a significant amount of sales tax was met with much enthusiasm. The board was pleased to hear about the purchase of Mighty Molding by local businessman, Brent Kirkland. This purchase will keep the business in Eastland for years to come.

The Executive Directors Report also included updates on the Maverick Townhomes and the new University Drive in the Warner Subdivision. University Drive will serve the newly constructed Woodlands Nursing Center.

On a motion by Carolyn White, seconded by James Doyle, the meeting was adjourned at 12:44 p.m.
