North Seaman/Hwy 112 Crossing Will Not Be Closed January 26

Update January 26, 2018 from the City of Eastland: UNION PACIFIC RAILROAD, without prior notification to anyone locally, decided NOT to CLOSE the railroad crossing on North Seaman/State Hwy 112.

 We apologize for any confusion or inconvenience this may have caused.

Original Info January 25, 2018 – The City of Eastland has been notified by the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) of the closing of the railroad crossing on North Seaman Street/State Highway 112 by Union Pacific Railroad for maintenance beginning at MIDNIGHT TONIGHT (01/25/2018). According to information by Union Pacific and TxDOT the closing should last approximately 30 hours.

If you travel this route please plan your trips accordingly using North College Street/State Highway 3101 to travel north and south to and from Eastland. TxDOT has placed warning signs in the area. See route diagram below.
