NOTICE OF MEETING

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

The City Council of the City of Strawn will meet in Regular Session at the Regular meeting place in the Council Chambers of the City Hall building on Monday, July 12, 2010 beginning at 7:00 PM. The Agenda for this ‘Meeting’ is shown below and becomes a party of this ‘Notice’ for all intent and purposes.

1. Call to order and establish quorum
2. Opening Prayer and Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag
3. Consider minutes of Regular meeting June 14, 2010 and take action as necessary
4. Citizen concerns and take action as necessary, if any
5. Discuss payment of insurance money on Strawn VFD Fire Hall from 05/05/09 hail storm; take action as necessary
6. Discuss continuing the payment of insurance premiums on Strawn VFD Fire Hall; take action as necessary
7. Discuss hiring of Cameron Gulley, CPA, Eastland, TX to perform annual audit for the City of Strawn and DCOS; take action as necessary
8. Second reading of resolution regarding a request from DCOS for authority to purchase building requiring expenditure in excess of $10,000.00; take action as necessary
9. Address citizen comments regarding Consumer Confidence Report
10. Department reports and act as necessary: 1) Public Works 2) City Secretary 3) DCOS
11. Review monthly bills for June, 2010 and take action on payment thereof
12. Mayor’s report
13. Adjourn
