Minnie Lois Dunson of Early
Minnie Lois Dunson, 84, of Early, passed away on July 30, 2012 in a Brownwood hospital. She was born on July 16, 1927 in Caddo, Texas to H. C. and Rhodie Kesterson Huckaby. She married Jody Dunson on June 18, 1944 in Ranger, Texas. She was a member of the United Pentecostal Church. She loved to embroidery. She is preceded in death by a son: Royce Dunson; 4 brothers, and a sister.
Survivors include her husband: Jody Dunson of Early; sons and daughters-in-law: William and Eunice Dunson of Fort Worth and Andy and Debbie Dunson of Stanton; daughters and sons-in-law: Charlotte Barnes of Stanton, Jo and Jerry Reeves of Eastland, Cindy and Dwight Croxton of Decatur, and Mary and Virgil Laughlin of Arlington; and sister: Mable Carter.
The family has requested that memorials be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Services will be at 11:00 AM, Friday, August 3, 2012 at Edwards Funeral Home. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:30 PM – 8 PM, Thursday at the funeral home.
