July 4th Events

A reminder that fireworks are illegal in all area city limits.  Eastland County and Palo Pinto County are both under a burn ban which means conditions are dry and dangerous for any outside burning.  Palo Pinto County has issued an emergency declaration banning the personal use of fireworks within the county. The declaration is in effect for the next 7 days.

A better and safer choice than setting off your own fireworks is to visit any of the area fireworks shows.  Each of the events below are free to attend and offer spectacular shows.   List any other events you know about in the comments below.
