Ranger Texas – Straight from Nashville, Tennessee, voice impressionist-comedian Johnny Counterfit recreates the singing voices of country music superstars, Hollywood legends, and comedians from the last 50 years, on October 21st at 6:00 PM. Johnny, along with a fantastic band of musicians, hits the stage taking the audience back and forth through the golden era of music with more than 25 voice impressions including singers Johnny Cash, Buck Owens, Dwight Yoakam, Ernest Tubb, Hank Williams, George Straight, television icons Archie & Edith Bunker, Rodney Dangerfield, movie stars John Wayne, and Jimmy Stewart, even a fun couple of songs borrowing the voices of Ronald Reagan & Bill Clinton.
Johnny Counterfit continues to appear on the Grand Ole Opry, television shows, Larry’s CountryDiner, Music City Tonight, Country’s Family Reunion, and concert stages all across America.
Ranger Historical Preservation Society (RHPS) is proud to have such a star performer come from Nashville to help in our endeavor to make this celebration a success. It is with the help of a lot of people from all over the area, and some outside, that the Society has been able to put on such an event.
There is No Admission charge for any event, that’s right not even to see and hear Johnny Counterfit. RHPS just hopes that everyone has a good time and enjoys the show and other events. The Society (although definitely not a requirement) does accept donations, and they are tax deductible.
