Helen Gaeta, of Cisco, born on May 7, 1951, died unexpectedly of a brain aneurysm on March 2.
She is survived by her 4 precious children, Teresa and husband, Kerry Sneed, Andee, John and Jessica and two grandchildren, Autumn and Brayden. Survived also by her devoted parents, John and Margaret Torres, brother, Joe Torres and wife, Mary, and sister Eloise Seymour, and husband, Peter, nieces, Yolanda, Mary Jo, Sarah, Abigail, Rebekah, devoted companion, Bud Henson, ex-husband, Al Gaeta, Jr. and a large extended family and a host of very special friends. Helen was a loving mother and grandmother, loyal daughter, sister, aunt and friend and to have known her was a rare gift. She was forever full of energy, laughter, love and kindness with a playfulness of spirit that will live on in the hearts of the many whose lives she touched.
She was a lifetime resident of Cisco where she attended and graduated Cisco High School in 1969. She was an active member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church where she enjoyed serving her church community and employed by the City of Cisco at the City Hall. She was very family oriented and enjoyed activities with her family. Her greatest passions were arts and crafts, decorating and spending time with her family.
A Rosary will be held at Kimbrough Funeral Home on Sunday March 6 at 6 p.m. A visitation will be held immediately following the Rosary at Holy Rosary Catholic Church Parish Hall.
A celebration of Helen’s life will be held on Monday, March 7, 2011, at 10 a.m. with a funeral mass at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Cisco, Texas. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery
under the direction of Kimbrough Funeral Home.
