The City of Gordon kicked off their Farmers Market this past Saturday. Vegetables, jars of jelly and relish, craft items, and fresh eggs were among the offerings under the shade trees a block behind city hall. The soft sound of music wafted across the shoppers from the guitar players set up at the edge of the city park.
Several blocks across from the city park have been reserved for the farmers market. Currently booth space is free.
The Market opens this Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until noon. Watermelons, okra, Parker County Peaches and much more will be available.
Come set up or come to shop!
