Eastland Memorial Hospital HR Director, Leisha Elrod and Adminstrator, Ted Matthews ring the bell for the Salvation Army Red Kettle campaign, benefiting those in need in Eastland

The familiar Salvation Army Red Kettle accompanied by volunteers are ringing in the season of giving this year in front of the Eastland Walmart once again.

Eastland Memorial Hospital Administrator, Ted Matthews and HR Director, Leisha Elrod volunteered to kick off the campaign which runs through December 24th.

The Kettle is set up in front of Walmart each Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m.  Christmas Eve is also on the schedule to allow those last minute shoppers the ability to drop in their last minute donations.

There are plenty of spots available and those wishing to volunteer to ring the bell can call the First United Methodist Church office at 254-629-1022 to leave your name and number to be contacted.

The Red Kettle campaign is organized by the Eastland First United Methodist Church through the Salvation Army organization.  All donations are kept in Eastland to help those in need throughout the year.
