McDonald’s has been in Eastland since the 1980s and until a few weeks ago, we had never gone without it.  During the extensive remodeling, however, the restaurant had to close for a few weeks as they put the finishing touches on what they have labeled the “Experience of the Future”.   Now Eastland has a modern, state-of-the-art McDonald’s complete with an indoor playplace.

A second drive-thru lane is just one of the new added features.  Once inside the building you are surrounded by a welcoming, updated design and the option of ordering at the counter or using one of the touch screen kiosks.  Coming soon is the ability to order ahead using the mobile app.

Owner, Jonathan Savage explains “The McDonald’s Experience of the Future revolutionizes our restaurant to deliver a more engaging, personalized and less stressful customer experience with the ability to order what they want when they want it.”

McDonald’s held their Grand Opening and ribbon cutting September 15 – 17, with special deals and activities going on each day through the end of the month.
