Eastland ISD Breaks Ground on Renovations

January 15th, ground was officially broken for the renovation and construction that is planned for Eastland High School.

The building that has seen generations of students pass through its halls, will get a major facelift, classroom additions and ADA required improvements.  Code compliant restrooms on three floors, science labs, appropriate stairway and an elevator will be among the upgrades to Eastland High School.

Speakers at the event were EHS Principal Adam Bramlett, Superintendent Jason Cochran, Trustee Billy Bob Orsagh, Ruben Zarate, First Financial Bank President David Bailey, Mayor Larry Vernon and Assistant Superintendent Jeremy Williams.  Trustee David Hullum gave the invocation.  The project is expected to be completed August 15, 2018.
