Eastland High School did not sit quietly during the summer waiting for the return of staff and students. Instead, a transformation was taking place adding new space with an elevator, new restrooms, science labs and renovating sections of the old high school. A handicap accessible ramp has been added to the entry along with sprucing up the entrance. The office area has been moved to the original high school entrance allowing that space to be a higher security main entrance once again.
A staff luncheon was held Tuesday August 14th. A Grand Re-Opening and ribbon cutting, open to the public, will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 18th.
