Bryan Jackson Wins 25th Amateur Motocross Championship Race
Ponca City, OK – Bryan Jackson, Eastland Texas, captured his 25th National Motocross Championship title Thursday July 26, 2012 at the Ponca City AMA Motocross Championships, held at the famous Jack Blevins MX Park in Ponca City, OK.
Jackson, alongside wife Tina, has traveled all over the US this year, including Daytona Beach FL, Birmingham AL, and Millville MN, in celebration of his 40th year of competition in the extreme sport. Jackson, well known in the motocross community due to his trackside ministry Vertical Adrenaline Motocross Ministries, is also a past World and USA Champion in his respective classes.
“This event was awesome! We’ve been on the road for 5 weeks doing Christian motocross camps and racing all over the nation, but this one was special,” says Bryan. “My win at this national event is so prestigious because it’s number 25, which has been my race number for the past 25 years. It’s also the end of an era and the start of a new one. Last year I won there too and it was an NMA sanctioned event, in fact it was their 36th annual event, but this year it’s an AMA event. A change like this is historic to say the least and it’s just such a Blessing to get to experience a championship while saying goodbye to the old, and hello to the new,” stated Jackson.
Bryan and Tina are just one of many motocross families who spend their summer vacations traveling and enjoying the great sport of amateur motocross racing. Bryan competes with fellow racers from all over the world and is able to enter a wide variety of classes at each venue, all determined by age classifications.
