BRYAN JACKSON ALL-IN FOR EASTLAND ISD BOND PROPOSALS

Hello Eastland ISD voting district. My name is Bryan Jackson and I wanted to take a moment and convey my support on the upcoming 2017 Eastland ISD school bond, specifically Proposition 1 being $8.5 million in renovations and additions to the existing high school building, and Proposition 2 being $3.7 million to move debt from the operations fund to an interest & sinking fund, which will free up about $300,000 a year from the operations budget to be put back into educational enhancement programs and staff development programs.

Due to my outspoken opposition on the last bond proposal, I have received much question as to where I stand with the upcoming revised proposals. I am excited to say that I am all in for this one – and will vote Yes!
I appreciate the efforts of the Eastland ISD administration and the many times that they met with the voters in public forums, community meetings, and even countless one-on-one meetings, including with myself, to do their absolute best at formulating proposals that best fits our community.

Voting will be Saturday May 6, 2017 and early voting begins April 24th and ends on May 2nd. For more information, and charting of the expenditures, look for the Public Action Committee Facebook and webpage or email me at bryan@ebryans.com. You’re also welcome to drop by Bryans at 925 E Main for a visit – and printed copies of the proposals.

My wife and I are about to move back to our hometown of Eastland. I have not kept up with local issues, but I know, our beloved school and infrustuctor has got to have the need for help. We will support these propositions as to keep our school a diiference making in many lives to come.
