Blake Fulenwider Celebrates New Locale in Eastland

Eastland, TX –  Blake Fulenwider Dodge opened right before the start of the New Year, but wanted to wait and celebrate the new location once spring arrived.

“This dealership isn’t only about the vehicles, it’s about the community of Eastland, and we wanted to have the official grand opening when it became warmer outside and we could erect a tent and serve sandwiches to our new neighbors here in Eastland,” explains Blake Fulenwider, president.  “It’s a house-warming party in reverse, we’re the ones bringing and serving the food.”

Blake Fulenwider Dodge is the second dealership for Fulenwider.  His flagship location, in Clyde, has seen success as a member of the community after opening in 2006.  Clyde – as Eastland – sells and services new Dodge, Chrysler and Jeep vehicles in addition to a selection of used inventory.

“We see our stores and employees as extensions of the community; Clyde and Eastland have been very good to us, and we want to ensure we reciprocate back,” said Fulenwider.

Brad Johnson, Blake Fulenwider

Brad Johnson, general manager for the dealership in Eastland, is not new to selling vehicles in Eastland.  Johnson previously worked for the Randolph family when they owned the Dodge store in 2002-2005.  Johnson and his wife, Kristin, will soon be moving to Eastland.  Johnson most recently worked in Clyde as the sales manager for the Fulenwider store.

“I’ve always had a close connection to Eastland, I’m thrilled to be moving here and becoming more involved in the community,” Brad Johnson quickly explains.

Johnson’s commitment won’t stop there.  As part of this weekend’s grand opening, Johnson is collecting donations on behalf of the Eastland Volunteer Fire Department.  He anticipates presenting a check to the Department sometime in May.

“The volunteers of every fire department give of themselves everyday – I want to show our gratitude, and this is a great way to illustrate how appreciative Blake Fulenwider Dodge is of their time,” says Johnson.

Blake Fulenwider Dodge is located in the former sale barn at 1310 E. Main Street.  The store is open every day, except Sunday.
