Area Independence Day Celebrations
Wednesday, July 4th:
EASTLAND - An Old-Fashion 4th of July on the Square in downtown Eastland. Kid’s Parade, hot dogs, ice cream, pie/cobbler, patriotic music, games, booths, contests! Booths and games open 9:00 a.m., Parade starts at 10:00 a.m., Ice cream judging at noon, pie/cobbler judging 1 p.m. Presentation of Awards at 2:30 p.m.
CISCO – The Cisco Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a Fireworks display on July 4th at the City Park by the swimming pool at 9:30 p.m. We need donations to make this year’s Fireworks display one to remember!! You can make your donations at the Cisco Chamber of Commerce. We appreciate all of your support, and thank you for making Cisco a great community!!
LAKE LEON – Fireworks at La Mancha Lake Resort 402 County Road 567, Eastland, TX. Open to the public, Free Admission. Fireworks begin after dark.
STRAWN – The popping of fireworks will be permitted on July 4th at the Ball Field. A fire truck will be available for safe popping.
Mineral Wells Center of Life and PRAY Mineral Wells teams up for July 4th event at Ram Stadium. While the Chicken Express will continue to sponsor the fireworks, Center of Life and PRAY Mineral Wells work together to bring fun to the hours preceding the fireworks display.
Though spectators will not be permitted in the stands until 8:00 pm, there will be plenty to do. From 5:00-8:00pm there will be free live music, bounce houses and several booths to visit including the Police Department, Fire/EMS, various community resources and more. Everyone is encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets and plenty of water to drink.
