THE U-S-D-A FARM SERVICE AGENCY ENCOURAGES AGRICULTURAL PRODUCERS TO VOTE IN THE 2018 COUNTY COMMITTEE ELECTIONS.

COUNTY COMMITTEES ARE UNIQUE TO F-S-A AND SERVE AS A DIRECT LINK BETWEEN AGRICULTURAL COMMUNITIES ACROSS THE COUNTRY AND U-S-D-A.

COMMITTEES ARE A CRITICAL COMPONENT OF THE DAY-TO-DAY OPERATIONS OF F-S-A. THEY ARE COMPOSED OF THREE TO 11 MEMBERS WHO SERVE THREE-YEAR TERMS. FARMERS AND RANCHERS WHO ARE ELECTED TO SERVE APPLY THEIR JUDGMENT AND KNOWLEDGE TO HELP WITH THE DECISIONS NECESSARY TO ADMINISTER F-S-A PROGRAMS, ENSURING THE NEEDS OF LOCAL PRODUCERS ARE MET.

BALLOTS FOR THE 2018 ELECTIONS WILL BE MAILED TO ELIGIBLE VOTERS THE WEEK OF NOVEMBER 5TH. IF YOU DO NOT RECEIVE YOUR BALLOT BY MAIL, YOU CAN PICK ONE UP AT YOUR LOCAL F-S-A OFFICE. BALLOTS MUST BE RETURNED OR POSTMARKED NO LATER THAN DECEMBER 3RD.
